Harvesting!
You've done it! Your grow was successful and now you are about to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
There are many ways to harvest. You can harvest by bud, you can harvest by branch, or you can harvest the entire plant at once. It all is basically up to you and what space you have available.
Drying- The method we prefer is to cut down the whole plant at the base and hang it up in cool dark space with plenty of air flow. You want the dry area temperature to be around 65 - 75 degrees and around 45% to 55% humidity. In about 10 to 14 days you will be able to start trimming.
If you are not starting another grow right away from one of your cuttings that you cloned, you can also use the grow tent the plant was just in. Make sure the lights don't come on while you're drying.
Curing - When your flowers are dry (after the 10 - 14 day drying period) they still have a small amount of moisture in them and this is what the curing process will get rid of so you get optimal flavor, smell and potency! Curing removes this small amount of moisture in a really slow process. So how do you do it...put your flowers in a jar or any air tight container and keep it closed. Open that container for 20 minutes at a time daily for about 14 to 30 days. The flowers humidity should stable between 50% to 60% when the cure process is finished.
